Learning loss from Covid and the failure of our schools to improve literacy rates has left our students in a learning skills crisis, especially those in the disadvantaged community and communities of color. So many can't focus, remember what they are taught, decode words and/or understand what they do read. Come join the LearningRx brain training team, practice cutting-edge based techniques to change the brain and help transform the lives of struggling students and the fabric of our community. We take very seriously the challenge to get this into the communities who can't afford this or have advocating parents. We believe education helps break the poverty cycle. If you are called to this cause, then hop aboard. This is NOT the re-teaching of content, like tutoring, but building new neuropathways in the brain so tutoring is no longer necessary. Responsibilities and Duties
You must be available to work 12-25 hours per week over four weekdays or three weekdays and one weekend day and be willing to commit at least one year to this job. This is not a seasonal job. The best way of thinking about it is more like a year-around, part-time job.
Qualifications and Skills
Pre-requisites:
-BA/BS degree (or actively working on one)
-Strong English phonological processing and phonetics
-Exceptional cognitive abilities (as demonstrated on an initial 45-minute cognitive assessment and in-center activities)

Compensation: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
